Christopher Bonzon, MD
Dr. Christopher Bonzon received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Stanford University and his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of North Carolina. He then completed postgraduate fellowship training in interventional sports and spine medicine as well as diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound before completing additional fellowship training in spine and sports musculoskeletal medicine with his current group. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Bonzon currently serves as a sports and spine physician for Santa Clara University athletics and is a former physician for Carolina Performing Arts.
He has presented nationally and locally regarding diagnostic and treatment strategies for neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunction. Dr. Bonzon has co-authored and performed research for published book chapters on interventional ultrasound techniques for musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. He has conducted research on the return of amputees to physically demanding jobs.
